The recipe for Declan’s Irish Soda Bread evolved through a recipe that had been served to family and friends for more than 45 years before Hannah Banana released it as a seasonal product in 2007.  Customers tell us this lightly-sweetened soda bread is unique because it contains a pleasant blend of original flavor combinations and contrasting texture—a crispy Turbinado sugar topping complements caraway seeds baked into the bread, which are initially sweet, but become distinctly tangy in flavor.
